We also strive to preserve and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Maasai people. By supporting community-driven initiatives and promoting cultural awareness, we aim to empower individuals to embrace their traditions while building a sustainable future.

Our mission.

The charity's mission is to provide an education for the very poorest Maasai children and their parents in rural Kenya. Helping Kenya to help itself is our main objective.

We are here to help.

We are a team of volunteers and have two trustee boards. One here in Kenya which is a registered NGO and one in the UK.

What we do.

We are a UK charity TWK UK Together With Kenya - working with TWK Kenya Foundation across Kenya, repairing broken hand pumps and working in the Maasai areas of Kenya, helping families out of poverty through education, health and local clean water and by assisting people to become more economically active through mentorships, apprenticeships and skills based training.

Our Projects

Our projects are dedicated to improving the lives of Kenyans by promoting better health through our impactful Water Projects, while also empowering children and their communities with access to much-needed and highly valued education. Through our extensive school system and TVET college, we provide opportunities for learning new, practical skills that contribute to breaking the persistent cycle of poverty and creating brighter futures. These initiatives include: Water, Education, Sponsorship and Community Development

Our aim is to build a new Primary/ Junior School, a modern community learning centre, and a fully equipped TVET college, all designed to serve the entire local Maasai community.

These facilities are intended to provide vital educational opportunities and essential skill development, empowering individuals to contribute more effectively and sustainably to the growth and prosperity of their local economy.

Empowering throughout Kenya local communities with the knowledge and skills needed to maintain their water wells across Kenya with our Kenyan Water team.

Also providing our local community with the skills needed to start up their own businesses and learn vital skills to improve their lives and that of the community around our school.

Here are the architects plans for our new TWK school

We held in April the ground breaking ceremony where over 500 local people and VIPs attended. The photos below show some of the day and the Eripare ladies had their stall there to showcase their work.

The event was shown on national tv on two channels and on radio programmes around Kenya. It was a wonderful day with great excitement on our future plans, all we need to do now is to get fundraising so if you can help please email Tracey on tracey.moore@togetherwithkenya.org

Thanks
